Richard Luong

Richard Luong, also known as Tentacles & Teeth, is a Dallas-based illustrator, designer, concept artist, and art director whose work spans video games, tabletop gaming, comics, collectibles, and film.

Richard began his career in 2006 as a concept artist for Ritual Entertainment before transitioning into freelance work and co-creating the acclaimed board game Cthulhu Wars. The success of the game helped establish Tentacles & Teeth and opened the door to collaborations with some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Throughout his career, Richard has created artwork for Marvel, DC, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Sideshow Collectibles, Topps, and films including Hellboy and Logan.

In his personal work, Richard returns to traditional pencil and paper, creating highly detailed illustrations of the characters, creatures, and worlds that have inspired him since childhood.
